I'll be starting my own group: Jewish Voices Against Jewish Useful Idiots

Smart and spot on essay. Check out RootsMetal and her JVP research. She's comprehensive, digging deep into all aspects of these useful idiots for Hamas.

I've had unhappy encounters and done deep dive research on JVP. Here's a link to all my stuff, two of which were written BEFORE October 7, 2023 (the YouTube interview was in the wake of 10/07). Also, take the quiz linked here, which comes complete with citations: "Who Said It: JVP or David Duke."

I absolutely agree with your point that we have to ask them beyond villainizing Israel and telling us how terrible Zionism is, what do they actually think should be done? Are Jewish Israelis supposed to somehow disappear? What about their rights?

This question pretty much goes to everybody screaming about a ceasefire and genocide and anything that’s clearly obvious (people are dying). Unless the solution is to rid the world of one population or the other, nobody has come up with a viable solution that will allow everybody in the region to stay there and live their best lives in peace. The easiest way to try to converse rather than argue is to ask - is your goal to end bloodshed of all? What do you propose as a solution? And how will it be implemented? And who will govern each of the states?

There is a ceasefire happening as I type these words so that Gazans can get vaccinated against polio. I frankly do not think that ceasefire should have been done without releasing at least some of the hostages.

They never asked real Palestinians for their goals and aspirations because they would not like the answer

Actually...maybe they would...the problem is that it might conflict with the "peace" part of their name, which is a problem.

They are not interested in the best interest of Jews, or Peace. They are only interested in the destruction and murder of Israelis.

Here's the answer. It's shocking. JVP is awful, but they are great at selling an image to deep pockets.

I would bet money (a lot of it) that JVP is a bunch of high status people playing the distinction game, and they care not for Jews or Peace - just their ranking in the distinction game.

Corollary: not all high status people succumb to the temptation to play the distinction game.

Corollary 2: not all Jews are high status.

Corollary 3: Israelis are a much more normally distributed group of Jews, who mirror the status spread of other western nations (i.e. - they’re not all bankers and movie producers; they are truck drivers, electricians, farmers, Ethiopian immigrants, et cetera.)
